The instructors at FTT are all NRA Certified in the disciplines they teach. We will train any willing legal citizen regardless of age, gender or physical disabilities.

There are a lot of CCW concealed carry classes in the area. Some offer very low prices, other 1 day training and even some offer 2 for 1 deals. These all seem good but what are you really getting?

 

At Family Tactical Training we believe in different level of training. We provide knowledge, skill and attitude to prepare you to own and use a concealed carry handgun. First, we keep our concealed carry permit classes limited to no more than 12 students. This allows you to have more one-on-one interaction with your instructor. We provide our students with a legal presentation from a concealed carry law firm. Most other concealed carry training class just hand out a book explaining the Ohio CCW laws.

 

One of the most important aspects to owning a concealed carry firearm is have the mindset to own that handgun. We believe that besides firearm safety, mindset is the most critical aspect of concealed carry. We will review videos of actual concealed carry permit holders that had to use their firearm for self defense and the aftermath.

 

As part of mindset training we also use the Laser Shots Hi-Tech video simulator. This simulator will allow you to experience what a real life encounter may feel like. You will have the opportunity to shoot a faux gun with a laser activated by the trigger if you deem it necessary. This is the same training that law enforcement and military use. This system also help with basic firearm handling and allow the instructors to change any errors before you fire a real firearm.

 

At the range we provide one-on-one with each student. Safe gun handling is very important that is why an FTT concealed carry instructor will only focus on one student during the range time.

 

In class we will also teach you how to maintain & clean your concealed carry firearm for years of enjoyment.

 

We what to provide a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for your concealed carry licensing course. We offer snacks, beverages and catered lunch all at no extra charge.
