YOUTH FIREARM SAFETY COURSE

Length: 4-6 hours plus range time

This class is designed for ages 7 to 18. Parents are required to attend class with their child / children.

 

This course is to help younger shooters understand the safe handling of a Pistol, Revolver, Rifle & a Shotgun. Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports.

 

All shooting is done one-on-one with a NRA Instructor. Participants will have the chance to fire all firearm at the range and use to simulator prior to live firing.
